My Better Half

CAN YOU RESIST a good love story? “My Better Half” is a wonderful project by Amanda Jane Jones, a freelance graphic designer from Michigan who decided to start this on her blog. Here’s how it goes: she (or some photographer) takes one picture of the couple together – they’re usually friends or people she knows – one picture of her, one picture of him (there’s no gay couples so far, hence the description), some graphic seasoning by Amanda, a brief bio of the relationship and three things about each other, told by the other (got it?). Simple, and beautiful. Just the way I like it. :)

CONSEGUEM RESISTIR a uma boa história de amor? “My Better Half” (a minha metade melhor) é um projecto maravilhoso da autoria de Amanda Jane Jones, uma designer gráfica do Michigan que decidiu começar a fazer isto no blog. Funciona assim: ela (ou algum fotógrafo) tira uma foto do casal – normalmente amigos ou pessoas que conheceu – mais uma fotografia dela e outra dele (ainda não apareceram casais gay, daí a descrição redutora), uma pitada de condimentos gráficos dados pela Amanda, uma breve bio da relação e três factos sobre cada um deles, ditos pelo outro (perceberam?). Simples, e muito bonito. Como eu gosto. :)
